I
love him to death and I thank God for giving me such an inspiration
and a person to look up to as my father.
We have our differences at times, but it will always work
out, and our relationship has been greatly enhanced through this
sport.
And as far as his contribution to the team, all I have to say
is this:
he is the team organizer and manager, he is the number one
reason that we are first class and have everything together as well
as we do.
WC:
I
had no idea he was 79 years old.
That is incredible he is so active at that age.
I hear you are taking on a new challenge this year which
involves 2 wheels.
Could you fill us in on what you have in store?

KR:
Well for this year, since there are no National events
planned, I have opened up my eyes to other opportunities.
Motorcycle road racing is something that intrigues me and is
an area of motorsports that I have been putting quite a bit of
thought into.
I purchased a bike back in November and I attended my first
track day in January.
It may be just a hobby for now, but who knows where it will
end up.
I am starting simple and just riding my street bike in the
events.
I hope to get my novice license soon, and start racing by the
beginning of summer.
By then, I should have a dedicated race bike and I will bring
my rig to the races.
I don’t want to scare anyone there because when I
experienced my first club race, the biggest rigs were motor homes
pulling short enclosed trailers.
My rig will definitely stand out a bit in their crowd.
